This boogie board’s weight limit starts at 250lbs. The extra-wide width and thicker board give riders a chance to ride the waves to shore.
This boogie board is built for the rider who is 400lbs and over. Designed to withstand the waves this board also has handles to help with gaining balance.
Beach Chairs
Don’t lay on the sand if you don’t want to, these chairs can hold 300lbs or more.
We purchased this chair at our local Costco. It has a weight limit of 300lbs & has arm straps to carry on your back.
This chair is excellent for both the beach and camping. It does not take up much room in the closet either.

These are some of my favorite swimsuits for either beach or poolside fun.
If you are looking for a great bikini, this is my go-to these days. I found this right before our trip to Chincoteague Island and have since purchased it in a few different colors I love it so much.
This is one of my favorite one-piece bathing suits. It provides tummy control which is extremely helpful when hitting the waves but also helps give confidence in staying on when hitting the waves.
I love this swimsuit for lap swimming and sometimes even hitting the beach. It comes in a few different colors & sizes. (Don’t be fooled by the thinner model, they have sizes up to 24 available).
Must Haves
As we explore the many beaches of the United States, we found a few things have helped us make our journey from car to sand and back much easier.
We learned the value of water shoes on our trip to Jamaica. While we don’t have to use them at all the beaches, some shorelines are full of shells and rocks that we are thankful for these shoes each time.
Raise your hand if you hate sand! This blanket helps eliminate the amount of sand you bring back home with you during your trip to the beach.
This cooler comes on every road trip and beach trip we go on. Small enough to take up one spot in the backseat of our truck or SUV but big enough to hold enough food and beverages for a weekend-long trip.
